Advanced Extrication Training

Locke Township Fire Department joined numerous affiliate agencies for a day of advanced vehicle extrication training.  Training evolutions incorporated stabilization, disentaglement, and patient access/extrication for passenger vehicles, a full-size school bus, and a concrete truck.

Along with Locke, Franklin Township, South Salisbury, Bostian Heights, City of Salisbury, and City of Kannapolis Fire Departments were represented.  In addition to sending multiple participants, the Rowan County Rescue Squad brought out numerous apparatus, provided equipment, and fixed a hearty lunch.

Instruction was provided by Premier Extrication of Marshville, NC.  Special thanks as well to Crawford’s Garage for graciously providing a venue and training vehicles.
