Locke Township Fire Department is located in Rowan County, North Carolina on the southwest side of the City of Salisbury. The department operates out of three stations to cover an area of approximately 48 square miles. The response area includes rural farmland, residential property, and industrial facilities which total an estimated $953 million in value. Population in the district is approximately 13,500. Locke Fire Dept. is a combination department with three firefighters on duty Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
